This client reached out to me because the current accounting team struggled to complete the monthly financial reports or any additional analysis (i.e., job profitability). The leadership team spent most of their time reacting to surprises and feeling like they worked in perpetual darkness. I began working with the team to assess the their skill level and implement efficiencies. While improving processes and providing valuable analysis to the leadership team, I provided projections for business planning. I supported the accounting team with leadership, KPIs, accountability and resources. As a result of this engagement, the leadership team gained critical information to make proactive decisions which improved profitability significantly. Implementation of objective KPIs created a path to achieving the business objectives and accountability.
